Wallpiano
Jugendkulturhaus Dynamo needed something to to revive the backstage of their concert venue. I installed them Wallpiano, a bunch of suspicious-looking metal profiles with wires coming out. They don’t seem to have a purpose and no explanation is given to the always changing guests of the backstage. Whether they dare to touch it or just do so by accident, the installation will reveal it’s function as a musical instrument.
Using the Bare Conductive Touch Board, I created this permanent installation to provoke bands hanging out in the backstage. By touching the smallest bar, the sounds can be switched.
